New England

Our New England range of architectural mouldings follows the sleek, simple lines taken from the Shaker period.

In the nineteenth-century, the Shakers were America's largest and best-known communal utopian society, famous for their unusual way of life, the excellence and simplicity of their work and for the dance worship that gave them their name. Shakers lived and worked in communities across New England and their legacy continues today in the creations they left behind.

Shaker style continues to be popular as simple designs provide a sophisticated look to complement any home. Our New England range incorporates the full suite of architectural profiles, including useful shaker pegs, plate rack and primed shaker/picture rails, which only require one coat of paint. All New England profiles can be fixed using traditional methods.
